MOL Drybulk Ltd. (MOLDB) complies with laws and regulations, guidelines and other norms regarding the protection of personal information, and has established a system for protecting personal information, as well as the following Privacy Policy.
- MOLDB has appointed a supervisor to oversee the protection of personal information, and strives to manage personal information appropriately.
- MOLDB acquires personal information in a fair and lawful manner, and uses the personal information it acquires within the scope of its purpose of use, which is clearly specified in advance.
- MOLDB appropriately and carefully manages the personal information it acquires. It also takes information security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, as well as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information.
- When outsourcing the handling of personal information, MOLDB insists that contractors manage personal information appropriately to prevent leaks, etc., and supervises them to ensure this.
- MOLDB respects the rights of individuals with regard to their personal information, and responds promptly, within reason, when an individual requests disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of their personal information.
- MOLDB continuously reviews and improves its internal management system for the protection of personal information, and strives to maintain appropriate management.
Purposes of Use of Personal Information
MOLDB handles the personal information provided to it within the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes (hereinafter, “the purposes of use”) in relation to its business activities, based on its Privacy Policy, except in cases where it notifies individuals by other means.
- Conclusion and performance of contracts with MOLDB, and other transaction management
- Contact with MOLDB, and notices and greetings based on social customs
- Provision of information on products and services provided by MOLDB and MOLDB Group companies
- Checking eligibility for use of products and services provided by MOLDB and MOLDB Group companies, and identification of individuals
- Surveys, analysis, research, and auditing in relation to the business of MOLDB and MOLDB Group companies
- Creation of statistical information, analysis of anonymous information, and other processing of personal information for use by MOLDB
- Information exchange and communication with industry and organization stakeholders and business staff involved with MOLDB’s business
- Procedures relating to personnel and labor management
- Facilitating appropriate transactions with customers
Outsourcing
MOLDB may outsource the handling of personal information to a third party. In such cases, MOLDB will perform necessary and appropriate supervision of contractors in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.

If you wish to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, erasure, suspension of use, or suspension of provision to third parties (“disclosure, etc.”) of personal information handled by MOLDB, or records of provision to third parties, please contact the following.
To make a request, please send a written document stating that you wish to request disclosure, etc., of personal information, and enclose a stamped, self-addressed stamped envelope to the following address. (Include your name and postal address, and affix a 110 yen stamp.) Upon receiving it, MOLDB will send an application form and other documents to the postal address you provide. Please note that depending on the nature of the procedure you may be charged a processing fee.
